About

Cinderpath started as a group chat where four friends kept swapping screenshots of mobile games we couldn't put down. At some point the recommendations got good enough that we figured other people might want them too, so we turned the chat into a small site. Nobody here is a marketing department — we're just players who care about how a game feels after the first hour.

We focus on RPGs, adventures, and the kind of games that reward you for sticking around. Every title we cover gets real playtime before a single word goes up. If a game bores us by level ten, we say so. If the story surprises us, we tell you why without spoiling the good parts.

Games end up on the site a few ways. Sometimes one of us stumbles onto something during a lazy weekend, sometimes a reader points us at a hidden gem, and sometimes we revisit an older title to see if it aged well. Nobody pays to appear here, and no studio gets a say in our scores.

The goal is simple: help you spend your limited gaming time on things that are actually fun. No hype cycles, no inflated numbers — just the stuff we'd tell a friend over coffee.
