Nitro Canyon
★★★★☆ 4.1
Nitro Canyon knows exactly what it is: a fast, forgiving arcade racer you pick up and immediately understand. The handling is loose in the fun way, drifting is forgiving, and chaining boosts through a canyon section feels fantastic. There's a tilt option, but the touch controls are responsive enough that I stuck with them.
The track design is the star. Each canyon route has shortcuts and risk-reward jumps that reward learning the layout, and unlocking faster cars actually changes how you attack a course. Progression is steady without feeling like a slog.
It won't convert sim-racing purists, but for a quick adrenaline hit between tasks it's hard to beat. The sense of speed on a phone screen is genuinely impressive.
