Hollowreach
Hollowreach is less about objectives and more about the feeling of poking around a place that doesn't fully explain itself. You explore a decaying floating city, piecing together what happened through notes, environmental clues, and quiet observation. It trusts you to pay attention, which I appreciated.
The puzzles are woven into the world rather than bolted on — opening a sealed district might mean restoring power across three towers, and the solution always makes sense in context. There's no combat to speak of, just you, the ruins, and a wonderfully melancholic soundtrack.
It's a shorter experience, maybe five or six hours, but it's paced perfectly. I didn't want it to overstay its welcome, and it didn't. A beautiful, moody little adventure.
